Sonam Kapoor
The film is set to go on the floors this October. While who will play the male lead has not yet been finalized, Imran Khan, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Siddharth Roy are being considered for the role. This will be Sonam’s second political act, considering she played a political activist in Raanjhanaa and was lauded for her performance.The actress who herself is an avid reader has previously worked in Aisha which was also a modern interpretation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma.
While we wait for confirmation on the male lead, we would definitely love to see Abhay Deol play Zain Altaf Khan opposite Sonam, their on-screen chemistry surely works for us!
